BURNT HILLS-- Ruth Parsons DeGroat, 97, died August 31, 2000 at Ellis Hospital. She resided at the Glendale Nursing Home and was formerly from Scotch Bush Rd., Burnt Hills. Born October 10, 1902 in Rensselaer, NY and has lived in the Burnt Hills area since 1940. She is a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Glenville and also a member of the Third Order of the Franciscan. Her husband, Charles died in 1991. Survived by one daughter, Melisse R.
