Qld: A second tourist falls victim to Irukandji
A second foreign tourist has been rushed to hospital after being stung by an irukandjijellyfish while swimming in the Whitsunday islands.
A Mackay Base Hospital spokeswoman says the 35-year-old Frenchman was stung on thethroat yesterday while snorkelling off Hook Island.
She says he's in a satisfactory condition and should be discharged today.
